Environ was designed by a skin cancer specialist, Dr Des Fernandes and his sister Val Carstens.

His goal was to find the most effective ingredients to maintain healthy skin from a early age, more specifically to treat sun damaged skin, melanoma. So he came up with the invention of the environ cream.

He was the first to succeed in combining vitamin A and antioxidants in a cosmetic cream.

From there onwards Dr Des and his sister Val built Environ from a dream to a global success.
